SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville was held at the Town Hall, 3577 Terrace Road,
Cortland, New York, with Supervisor Thorpe presiding.
Members present:
Absent:
Supervisor, Raymond Thorpe
Councilman, Theodore Testa
Councilman, Edwin O'Donnell
Town Clerk, Pauline Parker
Councilman, Ronal Rocco
Councilman, John Pilato
Others present were: Town Attorney, John Folmer; Highway
Supt., Carl Bush; Engineer, Tim Buel of Research Associates;
Town residents: Mr. and Mrs. Peter Adams of 4460 Route 281 and
Mrs. Fortunata Abate of 1227 Bell Dr. and their Attorney,
Richard Shafer.
Supervisor Thorpe called the meeting to order and called
for an Executive Session to discuss acquisition of land.
Councilman Testa made a motion, seconded by Councilman
O'Donnell, to recess the Special Meeting and convene to an
Executive Session. All voting aye, the motion was carried.
The meeting was held as an informational meeting to
discuss the status of those involved relating to the flooding
in the Renaissance and Bell Drive area. Solution alternatives,
with map, including proposed purchase of land, were distributed
and discussed, to those in attendance.
Councilman Testa made a motion, seconded by Councilman
O'Donnell, to adjourn the Executive Session and reconvene the
Special Meeting. All voting aye, the motion was carried.
No action was taken.

The Meeting was adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
