SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
The Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville was held at
the Town Hall, 3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York, with Deputy Supervisor Testa
presiding.
Members present:
Absent:
Councilman, Theodore Testa
Councilman, Edwin O'Donnell
Councilman, John Pilato
Town Clerk, Karen Q. Snyder
Supervisor, Raymond Thorpe
Councilman, Ronal Rocco
Others present were: Town Attorney, John Folmer.
Deputy Supervisor Testa called the meeting to order and offered privilege of the
floor to Attorney Folmer.
Attorney Folmer apprised the Board the sewer line located at 1141 Davinci Drive, for
property owned by William and Pamela Raney, was installed outside the original sewer
easement accepted by the Town. It was therefore necessary for a new easement to be drafted
and filed to reflect where the sewer line actually was installed. The Raney's were in the
process of selling their property and requested the easement be recorded as soon as possible.
RESOLUTION #143 ACCEPT SEWER EASEMENT FROM WILLIAM AND
PAMELA RANEY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1141
DAVINCI DRIVE
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Pilato
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. William Raney prepared and submitted a sewer easement to the
Town for property located at 1141 Davinci Drive, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board does hereby accept the easement for purposes, and it is
f urther
RESOLVED, the Town Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to file such easement, as
required.
No further comments or discussion were heard.
Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Councilman Pilato, to adjourn
the Special Meeting. All voting aye, the motion was carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:17 p.m.
