HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-02-20TOWN OF DRYDEN PLANNING BOARD February 20, 1986 Planning Board met on February 20, 1986. Chr. B. Caldwell called meeting to order. Members present; B. Lavine, R. Chase, H. Slater, Chr. B. Caldwell, R.M. Bobnick, R. Lampila, & ZO S. Stewart. Absent; P. Underwood. Also present; G. Rotunda, B. Keech, P. Winn, & R. Smith. Public hearing for G. Rotunda continued from January 1986. General discussion on updated plans for two culdesacs. (Both roads approved by G.' Humphrey). Three neighbors on Ferguson Road going together to purchase lot # 1, bordering their lots, for buffer between them & development. If phased, only one road necessary now. First phase would be lots 1 -8 (with lot 1 actually being sold to adjacent property owners.). Lots 11 -15 given as general layout for phase two. If not phased, both roads necessary now. B. Caldwell read letter from Health Dept. (on file) Discussed needs for final approval & time frame. Explained lots A & B would also need to be included in subdivision application because developed within past 3 yrs. H. SLATER made motion to accept plan as proposed providing all conditions normally applied to such approval have been met for lots 1 -8 & Barbara be given power to sign final map when compliances completed. (Health Dept. approval, subdivision form, EAF, SEQR, Ag. Dist, water & sewer marked on map,. clarification of drainage easement, & road completion & acceptance by Town.) R. CHASE seconded. VOTE ALL YES CARRIED No further discussion. P. Winn, R. Smith, & B. Keech present to discuss property on Mineah Rd. owned by B. Keech. R. Smith wishes to purchase property to go along with existing place. B. Keech gave history of property, pointing out details on map. General discussion - of existing mobile home that has been built into "permanent" structure being a problem. Suggested discussion with Mahlon Perkins. Will set up public hearing for March 20th. Lengthy discussion of Town Board's concern for updating.zoning ordinances soon. General concerns were; time, expertise, liaison between Planning Board & Town Board, hiring consultant, & possibility of involvement of County Planning Board. B.
