Penco is not sure they can provide Town with liability on January 1st. Mr. Dempsey said Utica Mutual has verbally agreed to extend present policy for a month or two. He has been trying to get a better handle on price from Penco with no indication whatsoever. Utica Mutual will charge same rate as last year but they aren't going to bind one million umbrella. City of Cortland is going to self - insurance by putting $100,000 in fund each year and if sued will bond city to make up loss. It appears at the present time that Utica Mutual will extend Town's liability insurance. Monthly reports from Town Clerk, Town Justice Heffron and Zoning Officer's letters were reviewed. Reviewed correspondence: 1) Audit report of Town Justices; 2) Blue Orossl Blue Shield increase effective February 14 ($154.63 family and $66.74 single), 3} Notification of NYS Affordable Housing Corp. funding availability and request for proposals; 4) Notice of changes to County Tax Levy Procedures; 5) Municipal Official's meeting will be held November 20 at the Lehigh Valley Restraunt. Ayes - Sovocool, VanBenschoten, Cummings, Graham, Robinson. Supervisor Robinson contacted NYSF&G regarding light in McLean Community Hall parking lot. They said it had to face out. A short extension will cost $160.00 as private or $100 if added to light district. Community Church will get back to Supervisor if they wish to ;pursue. A review of all governmental structures or those that are hired to dispense governmental services indicates that no governmental structures have any architectural impediments to the handicapped. However, one rented facility, a room in the Village Fire Station rented to house the Town Justice Court severely restricts access to the handicapped. It has been determined then that in those cases involving the handicapped and the Town Justice Court the Court sessions can be convened in the Town ball and the Town Justice has been so notified. Vx. Glenn P. Munson has reviewed and is in agreement with boards self - evaluation. In order to comply with the Federal Revenue Sharing Act (31 U.S.C. 6701 - 6724) and the Federal Regulations promulgated in connection therewith (31 CFR Part 51) the Town of Groton hereby adopts the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 28 - SUPERVISOR DESIGNATED TO COORDINATE FRS HANDICAPPED REGULATIONS AND GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES Moved by Mr. Sovocool, seconded by Mr. VanBenschoten Ayes - Sovocool, VanBenschoten, Cltmmings, Graham, Robinson RESOLVED, that the Supervisor of the Town of Groton be designated as the Town Official responsible for coordination of the Town efforts to comply with the aforesaid regulations.
