Barbara Caldwell, Ron Beck, and Zoning Officer Sibley Stewart present. Chr. Caldwell asked for corrections or additions to the September minutes of the Planning Board. J. Hunt moved to accept the minutes as submitted. Seconded by B. Lavine. Vote- all ves. Motion carried. Old Business J. Hunt reviewed for the bd. getting publicity to draw out sugges- tions for areas of critical envirnomental concern under the SEQR Act. from citizen's in the Town of Dryden. He will prepare an interview for the paper including definitions, what SEQR responsibilities are, and what an envirnomentally critical area -is. He pointed out the important point to make in the interview is the breadth of the definition of terms of critical envirnomental areas. It would include almost anything. This bd. would reject or adopt ideas and if adopted, sent on for further re- view in Albany. B. Lavine added that it would be good to tell what the procedure is and what the intent is and in what way the protection might be awarded in the process. R. Beck suggested that the fact that it can be public or private property be made clear. New Business Susan McCormick of 3 Kimberly Drive was present to LO present to the Planning Bd. concerns that she and neighbors in the Kimberly Dr. area have about zoning being lax in this RB residential area. There is present- ly a dog kennel at 2 Kimberly Dr. and it has disturbed neighbors ins the area. Kimberly Drive residents took a look at the zoning and re -wrote some of it making it more restrictive in not allowing kennels or multi - housing dwellings. Mrs. McCormick had a petition from people on Kimberly and Lake Rd. with 60 signitures on it. She has given a copy to the Town Bd. She also brought the concern of dirt bike riding on Knollwood and Crystal Cr. The Planning Bd. complimented;Susan McCormick on her presentation and told her until they knew more about how the Town Bd. felt and wished to proceed, they would not spin their wheels on.it. The Planning Bd. did advise her to get a broader representation of the Town as the changes she is proposing are big. J. Hunt moved to invite the other Bd's. to their meeting on Nov. 17. Seconded by B. Lavine. Vote- all yes. Motion carried. It was decided to begin the meeting at 7:30 instead of 8:00. B. Lavine moved to adjourn the meeting as there was notfuther business. d Respectfully submitted .7 Jane Koelsch d
