HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-10-04Zoning Board.l.of Appeals October 4th, 1983 Town of Dryden The Zonin g PP Board of.A eals met on October 4th, 1983 at 7:30 PM with mem- bers Don Rose, Kermit Marquis, Charles Hatfield, Chairman Bob Keech, and Zon- ing Officer Sibley Stewart.present to consider the application of Rodney and LaRae Hulbert of 1150 Dryden Road to build a garage at 1150 Dryden Rd.-and is requesting a variance to section 905 of the Town Zoning Ordinance which requires that all buildings on a state highway in an R -D zone be at least 90 ft. from the road center line. No one was present to speak for or against the granting of this variance. The proposed structure would be a 24 x 32 ft. wooden structure 35 ft. from the road center line. The garage can not be built further back because the septic and leach fields are there. Bob Keech asked if there were any other questions or comments. There were none and Bob Keech moved that the variance be granted. Seconded by Don Rose. Vote- All yes. Variance granted. Hearing 11 7:45 PM • To consider therapplication of Sandra Ellis.of 2222 Dryden Road to add a bedroom tocher residence at 2222 Dryden Rd. and is requesting a variance to :. section 905 of the Town Zoning Ordinance which requires that all buildings on a state highway be at least 90 ft. from the road center line. The proposed .structure is 10 x 12ft. The hardship stated in the application is that there is no'.bedroomz-.in the present structure, thus the necessity for adding a bedroom. Bob Keech moved to grant this variance. Seconded by-Don Rose. Vote - All yes. Motion carried. Variance granted. Respectfully submitted Jane Koelsch I 1
