RE: Wood Burning Stoves

AL-the Dryden Planning Board meeting of June 19, 1980, the question
was brought up concerning the safety of wood burning stoves. They are
concerned due to the increase in' number of wood burning stoves being in-
stalled in the Dryden area.
A couple ideas were discussed but one concerned the fire companies
doing some hype of educational work involving maintenance of the stoves,
cleaning chimneys etc. The board realizes that many fire companies are
doing this type of work now.
If you know anyway in which the Planning Board could assist in this
situation, please contact us.
