Garbage pickup will cost more for Grot.orr to haul to Tioga County. Also will cost County a, lot more to haul into landstroms . Lyle Raymond was present to report on aivixonmental [%%nagement Counccil otivities. He is on Ai,r. and Water jality Committee. Solid Waste Committee handles dump which he is not on. He indicated that EMC has not been kept informed of activities by County Board. Board briefljr discussed proposed 1986 Dog Contract with the SPCA. They propose to provide 'aasic services beginning at $5,072 up to the deluxe package for an annual fee of $Io,000l Supervisor Robinson has received several complaints on nek? intersection of Ulest Groton Road. and Smith Road . County changed intersection making with Road a straight thru road and West Groton Road a T�yield. Complaints were yield sign is too small and too close to intersection plus no advance warning that intersection has been drastically changed thus oreating a daagesous intersection. Supervisor spoke with Mr. W1111am Mobbs and he informed us that he would have his engineer take a look at it. The County did place a yield ahead sign On Nest Groton Rand. Consensus of Town Board is th at intersection should be changed back the way it was with West Groton Road being the main highway or ,put Etop signs up.
