Since tage The Board of Health suggested to keep lots to a minimum of five acres so no worry about drainage. The lots will be heavily wooded and due to this could harvest wood for heating. There should be restrictions on how much of a percentage of trees should be cut in a year, to minimize run off. A culvert will be installed for crossing of stream. • Sunny Slope Terrace on downstream side is handled by culvert and no problems with flooding. Northwest lot there is 200' approximate distance botween right'of way and ravine. Can get proper frontage on that lot? Could drop line between northwest and southwest lot and could still get some frontage. Mr. Lavine recommended Mr. Arneson go to next step, but would like to see something more definite on committed deeded road crossing the stream and specifications for drainage etc. Motion seconded by D. Levin and carried unanimously. Mrs. Nancy Swader - 1097 Warren Road She was here on her bank recommendation as to whether she sbould or should not have her house on a public road more than it is now. Her property is behind another house and is reached by a long driveway off 50' frontage. Possibly origina- lly reserved for future roadway for development of land. She just acquired back property of 90 acres, through death of father, but not sure if will develop the land. Helen Amdure letter - Proposed Street - Section #1 Forest Heights Cotterill Sub =Division Have proposed street running north from Crystal Drive be- tween lots 4 and 5 dedicated to the town. Mr. Cotterill is willing to deliver deed of dedication. It was decided to set aside until later date, if and when future development goes through. And this motion made by D. Levin and second by B. Lavine. Motion carried. 0 Mr. Lavine brought up some discussion about storing of nuclear waste in our area. He made following motion for Town Board to bring up at their meeting: 1) Ask Helen Amdur what is available on controls of nuclear waste storage and controlling transpor- tation of same. 2) If -other people in area concerned. The above motion was second by C. Dann. Motion carried with five votiat yes and one no vote. Other Discussion: Town Board was thanked for concern with Sapsucker Woods Road-'and Hanshaw Road. Noted Ithaca has raised a concern too. Also Town Board concern with Ferguson Road. Mr. Dann made motion about repairs needed to parking lot at town hall. Second by K. Werninck. All in favor of motion. Mr. Steward to check on what to do about Midweek Observer Newspaper holders thatRlittering up highways etc. i B. Caldwell read a copy of a letter Mr. Fr.abroni received •concerning Cardinal Drive, which was sent by John Anderson of Health Department. Things listed included wet lands permit, show water and sewer lines, existing and proposed grading etc; J -3- Planning Board April 20, 1978 It was noted that no Health Department approval on lots on Cardinal Drive.
