Re: "Hickory Highlands" proposal of Wm. Keeton, Harrison Ambrose, and Frank Hanshaw.
Brought before the board for tentative approval with hope of public hearing to be
scheduled,in March. (Maps, photographs, and lists of proposed restrictions
presented.)
a. Located off Ellis Hollow Creek Road approximately opposite the end of
Genung Road. 31 lots ranging from 75,000 to 103,000 sq. ft.
b. Health Dept. approval still pending and is expected on a lot by lot basis.
The Health Dept. may be making some changes in their regulations.
c. Concern was, expressed over the need for an additional restriction in the
list of proposed restrictions which would cover: (i) no excessive burning
or burning in time of potential fire hazard (due to proximity of woods)
and (2) no excessive cutting of woods (concern about run -off) This
Mr. Keeton and Mr. Ambrose agreed to add.
d. The road will be quite steep in a few spots (up to 12.9) and some minor
changes have had to be made in consideration of winter accessibility
and snow removal. Drainage will be diverted as much as possible to
minimize the amount coming directly down the slope. A future tie -in
with the Brown sub -div. road is planned.
e. List of restrictions with above notation (c) appeared satisfactory
f. Part of the sub- division is in the RB zone and the proposed restrictions
would be equal or more restrictive than those for the RB zone.
Mr. Keeton and P -1r. Ambrose requested that the RB line be moved to
correspond with the back line of their proposed project.
g. Utilities still to be contacted.
Tentative approval of "Hickory Highlands" was given subject to the above
points. Ready for hearing by 3/19/70.
Re: "Deerhaven" proposal of A.I. and J.M. Reed. Brought before the board for
tentative approval with anticipation of hearing in March. (Map presented)
