The first meeting of the Town of Dryden Planning Board was
convened at x:45 p.m. on June 28, 1957. The appointed members: Mr. C. W.
Sadd, Mr. D. B. Harrington, Mr. Charles McGory, Mr. Frank Hanshaw,
Mr. George Guest, and Mrs. Katharine Payne, Mr. Guest was designated
chairman by the Town Board, which also decided to select a Planning Board
member from Varna before the next meeting of the Planning Board.

Mrs. Payne was chosen secretary and Mr. Sadd treasuer.
A tentative meeting time of Wednesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. was decided
The Secretary was requested to write to the Department of Commerce
for all materials available concerning community pidnning. The Secretary
was asked by the Chairman to notify the Mayor of the Village of Dryden
of the existance of the Planning Board and to suggest that either he
or a representative of the Village plan to meet with it some time in
the future.
After designating the next meeting, July 10, the meeting adjourned.
