PUBLIC HEARING
LOCAL LAW TO AMEND ZONING CODE §212-118 H (1-3) AND §212-118 I (2)8 RE: DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT 9
Town of Ulysses
March 13, 2018

The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.

Environmental Planner- Darby Kiley
Bookkeeper- Nina Thompson

OPENING THE PUBLIC HEARING:
Ms. Thomas made a motion to open the public hearing at 7:02 p.m., seconded by Mr. Boggs and
passed unanimously. She introduced the other town staff and board members in attendance.
SUPERVISOR’S NARRATIVE:
Ms. Thomas noted that the subject of the hearing was the proposed Local Law to Amend Zoning Code
§212-118 I (2) Re: Development District 9, known as FloTech at 7325 Halseyville Road. Proposed
changes are only to the zoning map.
She noted that copies were available in the back of the room and that the date of the Public Hearing
was set by Town Board resolution on Feb. 27, 2018. A notice of the hearing was published in the
Ithaca Journal on March 2, 2018.
The County 239 review was received on Feb. 15, 2018 and determined that there were no negative
inter-community or county-wide impacts.
The purpose of the hearing was to afford the general public the opportunity to comment on the
proposed amendments to the zoning law.

CLOSING THE HEARING:
Hearing no comments, Ms. Zahler made a motion to close the hearing at 7:06pm, seconded by Mr.
Goldman and passed unanimously.
