TOWN OF DANBY
SPECIAL MEETING
December 30, 1985
A special meeting of the Danby town Board was called to order at 7.:05 PM
at the Danby Town Hall, 1830 Danby Road, Town of-.Danby, County of Tompkins,
New York, December 30, 1985. The purpose of the meeting was to pay all
year end bills and make necessary appointments for terms expiring on
December 31, 19850
Board members present: Councilperson Roberts, Councilman Ric Dietrich,
Supervisor Don Burdick.
Board members absent: Councilperson Mary Oltz
Councilman Ed Shay
Others present: Kenneth Coddington
Supervisor Burdick requested a resolution to amend Resolution #44, Highway
CSEA contract. The resolution should not state what an employee does
as a seasonal job. The duties are between the highway superintendent and
the employee. The class of MEO I rate per hour should be $7.48, MEO II should
be $7.38 and MEO III should be $7.23. Also delete the names Hall and Palmer
as names should not be included in a contract.

AMEND RESOLUTION #44, CSEA HIGHWAY
CONTRACT FOR 19860
MOVER ONE HIGHWAY EMPLOYEE TO MEO II
CLASSIFICATION.
Councilperson Roberts moved to approved payment of the General Fund Warrant #13
in the amount of $1019.19, seconded by Supervisor Burdick, carried unanimously.
Councilman Dietrich moved to approve payment of the West Danby Water District #13
• in the amount of $415.21, seconded by Councilperson Roberts, carried unanimously.
Supervisor Burdick moved to approve payment of the Highway Fund Warrant #13
in the amount of $9791.08, seconded by Councilman Dietrich, carried unanimously.
Councilman Dietrich moved to approve payment of the Federal Revenue Sharing
Fund Warrant #13 in the amount of $957.82, seconded by Councilperson Roberts,
carried unanimously.
Councilman Dietrich moved to approve-the appointment of Judd Leonard as
Zoning Officer for 1986, seconded by Councilperson Roberts, carried unanimously.

Supervisor Burdick moved to approve,..the appointment of Edward Hughes as
building inspector for 1986, term to expire December 31, 1986, seconded by
Councilperson Roberts, carried unanimously.

Councilperson Roberts moved to appoint Pamela Clermont as town attorney
term to expire,December 31, 1986, seconded by Councilman Dietrich, carried
unanimously.
Supervisor Burdick said the appointment of Dog Warden will be tabled until
the January meeting, as the town attorney is drawing up a resolution for
the appointment.
At 8:20 PM, Councilperson Roberts moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded
by Councilman Dietrich.
