Call to Order at 7:05 PM
October Minutes approved as written. There was no November 1999 meeting it
was canceled because of weather.
Youth Development Report — David reported on December activities and
included a list of finished programs. There was very low turn out at the Safety
day. This was very disappointing to everyone. They don't know why, except
perhaps it was the location. David took a week vacation early in December. All
programs are going well, though there was low enrollment in the papermaking
project. There will be three nearly full days of programs offered during the winter
break A couple of these programs will be shared with other municipal groups.
David has scheduled several programs for early January and the spring
semester; Archery, Science Center and a Primitive living series of workshops.
David will be meeting with Chuck and Bonnie to discuss spring programs.
Dan reported that the budget year ended in good shape and that programs were
being planned in advance and will be held on conference days.
Dryden After School Middle School Enrichment- Karen reported that Bonnie has
put together a program that included a skating afternoon, will include some whim
opportunities and a performance of Romeo and Juliet scheduled for the morning
of January 19`" . We need to meet with Bonnie and Chuck Leo to put together a
schedule and to allocate or transfer funds.
We will discuss this at the January 18, 2000 meeting.
