HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-05-16r: TOWN OF DANBY SPECIAL MEETING May le, 1985 A special meeting was called to order at 4:20 PM at the Danby Town Hall, 1830 Danby Road, Town of Danby, County of Tompkins, New York, May 16, 1985. The purpose of the special meeting was to review the audit made of the town records for the year 1984, to discuss the legal aspects of purchasing property for new highway housing, and to discuss the expenses for the summer recreation program. Board Members present: Councilman Shay Councilperson Oltz Councilperson Roberts Councilman Dietrich Supervisor Miller Others present: Ray Babbitt, Pam Clermont, Walter & Carol Sczepanski,f Judy Tagliavento, Supervisor Miller said Mr. Babbit hired a part time employee to help three days in the Danby clean up. As the employee was not put on the payroll a resolution is needed to pay Steve Palmer from the Community Beautification Account. RESOLUTION #29 AUTHORIZE SUPERVISOR TO PAY STEVE PALMER $93.40 FROM ACCOUNT A8510.4 FOR ASSISTING THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT IN THE DANBY CLEAN UP DAY, Supervisor Miller presented to the board members the financial audit report. General discussion followed, Supervisor Miller presented to the board members on Ric Dobson's property which includes ten acres was appraised for $33,000.
