The meeting was called to order at 7135 P.M.
The. March minutes were. approved.
Don reported that the Town Board
had adopted the
fee
schedule for zoning
actions
which we had recommended
of the Zoning Ordinance upon approval, Don said
to them. Don said
now has copies
he forgot to pass
along our
recommendation
that these
be combined with
the building
permit
fees into a unified
fee schedule
but that
he
would do so at the
next Town
Board Meeting.
Don also
reported that
the
Town Board had
adopted-the.
local law regulating
construction in
flood
-prone areas,
thereby
assuring the availability
of flood insurance
to the Town residents.
Regarding
copies
of the Planned Development Agreements, which
are supposed
to become
a part
of the Zoning Ordinance upon approval, Don said
he
now has copies
of
several -- Chuck Bruce's, ITL's, and Walter
Wigxins'.
Still missing
are
Locker's (H &F Machinery), the Randall Farm's,
and
Rick Dobson
and Associates'.
Unless these can bet located, the
Town
will
have
to take
action
to remove
them
from
the
records.
Privilege of the Floors Carol wondered how the Town Barn Committee
is doing in their search for a location for the new Town Barn. One
possibility she knew of was a trade of the current Town Barn and land
in exchange for a piece of land on the main road owned by Rick Dobson.
Those familiar with it thought it looked like a good site. Walt ex-
pressed reservations, noting that that piece was one of very few in the
Town suited for commercial /industrial use, and using it for a, town barn
precluded such use. He wasn't sure the Town wants such development,
but thought it should at least be considered.
Regular AEendas The Board began the process of reviewing the regulations
section of the model ordinance prepared for us by the County Planning
Office. OTie point we agreed ons There should be a single permit pro-
cedure for both zoning and building permit purposes. These Zoning /Build-
ing Permits will be issued by the Zoning Officer whenever the ordinance
or State Law requires them. There wasn't much agreement on anything
else. We got through all of 4 pages of regulations by meeting's end.
Meeting adjourned at 11:20 P.M.
