Others present: Willie Pierce, Walt and Carol Sczepanski, Frank
Proto, Nancy Weitzel, Mary Smith, Gay Huddle, Pamela Clermont,
Don Graham, Patty and Hemmo Huttunen, Herb Engman.
The town clerk read the notice of advertisement as advertised
in the Ithaca Journal.
Supervisor opened the meeting to the public for comments.
Walt Sczepanski said he does not object to the proposed use of
the Danby School as long as it is back on the tax roll.
Herb Engman questioned the kind of chemicals used by the Theater
Lighting company. Willie Pierce said the only chemical used
is a freon base which is recycled thru the manufacture and very
little of it is used.
Hemmo Huttunen spoke in favor
by Ithaca Theater Lighting,
of the school being purchased
Gay Huddle said she is glad the school is being occupied.
Ithaca Theater Lighting Company have been good tenants so far.
Mary Smith spoke in favor of the sale of the school.
Councilperson Oltz said she reviewed the proposed resolution
drawn up by the town attorney and felt the section {,d)_tating
use of school gym, be excluded from the resolution as the use
of the gym is solely the Theater Lighting's descretion.
With no further comments, Supervisor Miller closed the public
hearing at 7:45 PM.
