Bucko, Town Attorney Also present: Leland Cornelius, Nancy McGuerty, George Totman, Lyle Raymond, Roger Gleason, James McNeil Minutes were approved as mailed f'or December 15 and 29, Changes in Januaxy -5 minutes to read as follows: RESOLUTION A ;O. 2 - LOCAL LAW ,ff1, 1981, MI SAFE BUILDINGS LAW AMENDING LOCAL LAW #1 of 1978. Resolved, that an Amendment to Local Law #1, 1978, Unsafe Buildings Law be adopted as follows, title to be Local Law #1, 19811 Claims #19 to #54 of the Highway Depaxtnent and #11 to #38 of the General Fund were piresented for audit. Mr. Rankin Moved that the bills be paid and the Clerk I ns'tr'ucted to draw warrant for them. Seconded by Mr. Sovocool, Ayes - Sovacool, VanBenschaten, Casey, Rankin, Robinson. Monthly x'eparts from Fire Department, Ambulance, Town Clerk, Zoning Officer and Town Justice were xeviewed, DLr. Sovocool moved that the board recess for executive session at 8;05 1'.M. Mr. Pankin seconded the motion. Town Board meeting reconvened at 8:20 P.M. Nir. Sovacoal moved to appoint Nano P"nning Board. Seconded by Mr. V VanBenschoten, Sovocool, Robinson. as a member of en choten. Ayes - Rankin, Casey, . Mr. VanBenschoten rno5red, to appoint Arlene Brown as Assistant Town Historian who will act as a liason between the Gxo'L'on Historical Association and the Town Board. Seconded by Mr. Carey. Ayes - Sovocool, VanEenscho'ten, Carey, Rankin, Robirrsori. Contracts with the Groton Child Developiaent Ccntcr at $1800, Groton Fire Department at $19,' 00 (same as last year) and Ambulance at $15,000 were signed. The Fo=rm Board and members of the Gx7otvri Talon Planning Roa.xd discussed new, proposed zoning changes, Mr. Bucko recommended other Town Board members who have not read through the-proposed zoning revisions, do so before the next meeting. If need be, workshops should be conducted to Further study plans. Town Board members discussed, contract between Gouri ty and S . P. C .
