Carey, Councilman Verl Rankin, Jr., Councilman Gordon C. VanBenschoten, Councilman Absent: Benjamin J. Bucko, Toim Attorney Also present: Leland Cornelius Purpose of meeting was to work on budget and pass resolutions as necessary. Board members worked on tentative budget making changes as necessary for preliminary budget. RESOLUTION NO. 20 - ADOPT TENTATIVE BUDGET AS PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR 1981 AND RE- AFFIRA4 BUDGET HEARING DATES Moved. by Mr. Rankin, seconded by Mr. Sovocool Ayes - Sovocool, Carey, Rankin, VanBenschoten, Robinson RESOLVED, that board accept -tentative budget as preliminary budget and re- affirmed schedule for Budget Hearing, Federal Revenue Sharing Hearing and Fire Budget Hearing for Monday, November 3, 1980 at,8:00 Pme RESOLUTION N0. 21 - 1981 YOUTH I RECREATION PROJECT Moved. by Mrs. Robinson, seconded. by Mr. Rankin Ayes - Sovocool, Carey, Rankin, VanBenschoten, Robinson RESOLVED, that the Toi-m of Groton will participate in the Youth Recreation Project for 1981 in the amount of $ 3200 with $1600 being reimbursed by the State.
