Carolyn noted that no action was taken in Executive Session. The motion passed without dissent. Energy Audit Study – Chris Kalwara, Johnson Controls Chris distributed a Draft Performance Contract and presented a project overview that outlined the highlights and benefits of the project, as well as the costs and payback projections. The Towns of Ithaca and Dryden requested a draft resolution to take to their respective boards for approval prior to putting the project out to bid. They noted that they would try to vote on this project in June. Headworks Loading – Bill Davis, MRB Consultants Bill distributed his draft report on a CD and presented a summary to the board. He stated that no issues of concern were found in sludge disposal and worker health and safety exposure. He also stated that there were no problems with the processes of the plant. Bill reiterated that the study found no concerns with the plant accepting hydrolysate waste from the Cornell Vet School. 1 2 Cornell Animal Waste - After discussion, the vote on the resolution to accept hydrolysate waste from Cornell was deferred to the June meeting. Financial Report – Deferred to next meeting. Operator/Engineering Report Summary – Dan Ramer, Scott Gibson The septage receiving project is on hold due to NYSEG coal tar investigation. The vacancy review board has approved the replacement of Nolan with an operator. The Penn Valley pump for thickened sludge has been put online. The other pump installation is nearly complete. MRB Consultants will present an update on the headworks loading analysis. There are no updates on current litigation. On a motion, the meeting adjourned. The next meeting is scheduled for June9, 2010 at 12:30PM.
