CHAIRMAN MARTIN: The board finds that the condition attached toy
!s
i! the area variance granted on July 11 , 1977 has ;
not been met . The board remains convinced that
that condition represents a reasonable applica*
I tion of the off-street parking requirements of
the Ordinance to a use which is likely to
i
generate considerable traffic in an area in
which there is already a problem with parking and
traffic flow, especially on weekends and during
winter weather
Having had repeated opportunities to consider
this case , the Board has discovered a further
i possible problem with the appellant ' s off-stredt
f parking solution. The lot under consideration
i; is located outside the very small B- 2 zone and
i'
is itself zoned R-3 in which the only permitted
parking use is as a neighborhood parking area.
The definition of neighborhood parking in the
Zoning Ordinance does not extend to the leasing
i'
i
Z
of such space for use by a commercial concern.!
I'DR. GREENBERG: I second the motion.
VOTE : 5 YES 0 NO.
Request denied.

present for the open session to announce the findings .
