TOWN OF DANBY
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 21, 1982
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was held June 21, 1982
at 7:30 P.M. at the Danby Elementary Schhol, 72 Gunderman Road,
Town of Danby, County of Tompkins and State of New York.
The
purpose
of this special
meeting was
to authorize
Roy Hornbrook
to
go ahead
with repairs on
Bucket Wheel
Loader 950
Caterpiller.
Board Members present: Councilperson Sylvia Hiney
Councilperson Mary Oltz
Councilperson Dorothy Roberts
Supervisor Mildred Miller
Absent: Councilman Ted Merritt
Supervisor Mildred Miller stated that a resolution is needed to
authorize Roy Hornbrook to go ahead with repairs on bucket wheel
loader 950 caterpiller and to pay for repairs thru bridge and
machinery accounts and balance from contingency general fund.
Councilperson Mary Oltz moved the resolution and was seconded by
Councilperson Dorothy Roberts.
RESOLUTION #18 AUTHORIZE ROY HORNBROOK TO GO AHEAD
WITH REPAIR WORK ON BUCKET WHEEL
LOADER 950 CATERPILLER, MOTOR REPAIR
AT CRISPELL'S GARAGE AND TRANSMISSION
TOURAGE CONVERTER AT SYRACUSE SUPPLY
SYRACUSE AND TO PAY FOR REPAIRS BY
USING MONIES AVAILABLE IN BRIDGE &
MACHINERY ACCOUNTS PLUS BALANCE FROM
CONTINGENCY GENERAL FUND.
Roll call vote: Hiney - aye
Oltz - aye
Roberts - aye
Miller - aye
Carried by a vote of four ayes and no noes.
RESOLUTION #19 CONTINGENCY BORROWING CALLS FOR
AMENDING BUDGET. RESOLUTION IS
NEEDED TO TAKE MONEY FROM GENERAL
FUND AND PLACE IT IN THE HIGHWAY
FUND IN ORDER TO PAY BALANCE OF RE-
PAIR BILL AS MENTIONED IN RESOLUTION
#180
Councilperson Dorothy Roberts moved the resolution and was seconded
by Councilperson Mary Oltz.
