COLUMBIA STREET BRIDGE: Supt. Dingman reported that Hull -Hazard had informed him that the Columbia Street utility bridge was complete and that Modjeski & Masters had inspected it and had determined that it had been completed in accordance with the plans and specifica- tions and recommended that the City accept it. Leary advised that the concrete walls on Cayuga Street bridge', over Cascadilla Creek, had been removed and would soon .be' replaced with steel rails. He ' felt this would prove to be a big im ovement and help alleviate some of the hazardous traffic problems at this location. /1/ N CAYUGA STREE ' `BRIDGEc."=' Engineer Schlzeder reported. that the project of replacing concrete walls.with -Cayuga Street Bridge, over Cascadilla Creek, had' been completed and expressed his satisfaction with the results. Golder reported that a section of wall near the southwest corner of the Ithaca College Garage on Six Mile Creek had'broken;loos`°e::and.;.wa� near: the: point of collapse, and that a drainage pipe passing through the' wa11.: at ;'this:` point also needed repair. He estimated the cost of this repair;''at`: approximately .$1,500 for which 1 funds had been provided in the 1970 budget, and indicated this work would be done before the end of the construction season this year. - Q-41C.*.6'') -3- December 9, 1970 SIX MILE CREEK CLEAN-UP: By Comm. S.
