U.D.C. LICENSE AGREEMENT: Comm. Putney reported the Urban Development Corp. had presented a license agreement whereby the City agrees to permit Ithaca Elm Maple Houses, Inc. to occupy portions of the road leading to the Elm Street storage tank for the construction of a building in exchange for an agreement by the UDC to save the City harmless, and to provide suitable continuous access to the water tank and to hold the City harmless from liens and encumbrances which might be placed against the property during the term of the agreement. The agreement_ provides further that the City may terminate the agreement on 21 days written notice in which case UDC shall restore the premises to its original con- dition and that expenditures for work undertaken on the premises will.be.at UDC's sole risk. .2/ By By Comm.
