Meeting Minutes - Thursday, Nov 17, 2011 - 7 PM

Meeting opened at 7PM
Chairman Thane asked that everyone be sure that they have fulfilled their annual requirements for 4
hours of training.
The recently adopted Land Use and Development code was discussed and all agreed that it was an
update of the old code that included new sections, such as, mass gatherings, towers, outdoor wood
boilers, and solar and wind generation in a more readable format. The Land Use Table also lists many
uses as requiring Site Plan review or Special Permits.
CEO Gary Coates distributed a SEQR worksheet that outlines the need and types of actions required
by state law for all applications submitted to the Planning Board.
