Van Cort, E.Jacobs. 1. Call to order 7:40 2. Privilege of the Floor: None 3. West Inlet 2 Development Proposal/Floral Ave./Weisburd. The proposal is to build 16 duplexes on hilly,wooded 5 acre site. Grading is concern,removal of vegetation is the other and related drainage question,erosion. May not fit into the neighborhood, predominantly single family housing. Similar development nearby (Towerview). Two phases of 14 units with parking for 16 vehicles. Condominium ownership,open space areas. It is not a subdivision. All housing under one ownership. Most of road grading has been done. All materials submitted by the applicant Affordable,HUD funding. 4. Request for two-hour parking at Farm and Aurora Streets. This request for four two-hour, on-street parking spaces on Farm Street was made in 1988 and 1990 by the applicant,Dr. Gardner,is to allow his patients to park in front of his dental office. These spaces would be available after hours for neighborhood residents. The Board suggested getting a consensus from the surrounding neighbors and adjacent property owners. There was discussion concerning employee parking on the site. The Board also expressed some doubts about looking at these requests on a case-by-case basis since on-street parking in this area is somewhat difficult(limited). 5. Downtown Design Plan- Adopt and ask Council to accept it as part of the general plan, look at it as part of a downtown plan, accept elements of plan 6. Zoning Appeals. None 7. Reports. Director. Mann Library expansion,large building footprint. Planning Committee. MHA request to reconfigure housing and park on Pogo parcel. Mayor revitalizing Northside City Lands Committee.
