City Atty. Tavelli reported that he had received two lawsuits as a
result of the flood in 1981, and requested a resolution to adjourn
into Executive Session at the end of the meeting to discuss them.
Mayor Shaw commented that he had one personnel action which he wished
the Board to discuss while in Executive Session.

RESOLVED, That the Board adjourn at the end of its regular session
into Executive Session to discuss the City's response to two lawsuits
received as a result of the 1981 flood, and a personnel matter,
Carried Unanimously
Executive Session
The Board adjourned into Executive Session at 5:45 p.m. and reconvened
in Regular Session at 6:55 p.m. No action was taken in Executive
Session.

City Attorney reportedaving sent a memo to the Board with regard to
who can sign contracts for the Board of Public Works. He asked Comm..
Walker to take it up in Committee and promised his assistance to the
