TOWN OF DANBY
SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
January 22 , 1979
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was called to order at
7 : 30 P . M . at the Danby Town Hall , 1830 Danby Road , Town of Danby ,
Tompkins County and State of New York on January 22 , 1979 . The
purpose of the meeting was to set a date for the opening of bids
for draperies for the Town Hall meeting room .
Councilman Robert Snedden moved a resolution that bids for draperies
for the Town Hall meeting room be opened at 7 : 30 P . M . on February
12 ; 1979 at the Danby Town Hall immediately preceding the regular
board meeting , that this be advertised in the Ithaca Journal and
specifications be made available to all interested bidders . The
• motion was seconded by Councilman Dorothy Roberts .
RESOLUTION # 5 OPEN BIDS FOR DRAPERIES FOR THE TOWN
HALL MEETING ROOM .
Roll Call Vote : Wright - aye
Wilbur - aye
Roberts - aye
Snedden - aye
Todd - aye
Carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
It was noted that there will be a meeting of the Ithaca. City School Board
concerned with reorganization . They will vote on which schools to
close . As many of the town board members should attend as possible .
Councilman Robert Snedden stated that some action should be taken
concerning the revised zoning ordinance . Also a deputy zoning
officer is needed .
Supervisor A . Francis Wright moved a resolution to transfer a
delinguent water bill in the amount of $ 70 . 68 from tax lot number
17 - 1 - 3 to tax lot number 17 - 1 - 3 . 1 by issuing corrected tax bills .
This delinguent water bill was put on the wrong bill by the
assessment department . The motion was seconded by Justice Milton
Todd .

FOR TAX LOT # 17 - 1 - 3 AND TO RANDY AND CLARA
• LOCKWOOD FOR TAX LOT # 17 - 1 - 3 . 1 .

Carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
Cork for the wall across from the Clerk ' s office and a runner for the
hall to protect the hall floor was discussed . This matter will be
looked into and prices obtained .
As there was no further business the meeting was declared adjourned
at 9 : 10 P . M .
