SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
December " 26 ; . 1978
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was called to order at 8 : 00
P . M . at the Danby Town Hall , 1830 Danby Road , Town of Danby , County
of Tompkins and State of New York on December 26 , 1978 . The purpose
of the meeting was to consider the year end bills that have been
submitted for approval for payment . :
Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright
Councilman Robert Snedden
Councilman Dorothy Roberts
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Justice Milton Todd
Others present : Roy Hornbrook , Edward Slights
Supervisor A . Francis Wright advised the board that several of the
accounts do not have a large enough balance to pay the necessary
bills . It will be necessary to transfer $ 685 . 94 from the contingency
fund account (A1970 . 4 ) to make funds available to pay $ 25 . 00
municipal dues (A1920 . 4 ) ; $ 159 . 80 to take care of custodial services
(A1620 . 4) ; and $ 376 . 87 plus $ 124 . 27 to the capital fund account
to make sufficient funds available to pay the balance for the radios
and to pay the Human Services Coalition the amount the board voted
to contribute to their budget . Councilman Ralph Wilbur moved a
resolution to authorize the transfer of the necessary funds by the
Supervisor . Justice Milton Todd seconded the motion .

ACCOUNT (A1970 . 4 ) : $ 25 . 00 TO MUNICIPAL
DUES ACCOUNT (A1920 . 4 ) ; $ 159 . 80 TO CUSTODIAL
SERVICES (A1620 . 4 ) ; $ 376 . 87 TO CAPITAL FUND ;
AND $ 124 . 27 TO CAPITAL FUND .
Roll Call Vote : Wright - aye
Wilbur - aye
Roberts - aye
Snedden - aye
Todd - aye
Carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
In other business of the board , the candidates for the job of zoning
officer were discussed . There are six ( 6 ) applicants .
A letter concerning dog control has been received from Beverly Livesay
• with a sample contract to be used between towns and villages and the
S . P . C . A .jand the city and the S . P . C . A .
Also, a letter was received from the division of assessment concerning
the boards of assessment review . These boards must be appointed in
January .
General Fund Warrant # 13 in the amount of $ 723 . 56 was approved to be
paid . The motion was made by Councilman Ralph Wilbur and seconded by
Councilman Dorothy Roberts and carried by a vote of five ayes and no
noes .

Highway Fund Warrant # 13 in the amount of $ 12072 . 81 was approved to
be paid . The motion was made by Justice Milton Todd and seconded
by Councilman Ralph Wilbur and carried by a vote of five ayes and
no noes .
West Danby Water District Warrant # 12 in the amount of $ 81 . 04 was
approved to be paid . The motion was made by Justice Milton Todd
and seconded by Councilman Dorothy Roberts and carried by a vote
of five ayes and no noes .
A motion was made by Justice Milton Todd to adjourn the meeting .
Councilman Robert Snedden seconded the motion which was carried by
a vote of five ayes and no noes .
