The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Danby Planning Board was
held at The Danby Town Hall , 8 : 00 Y. M . November 20 , 1978 .
Planning Board members present : Board members absent :
Chairman , Ernest Cole Clifford Hill
Alberta Wilbur .
Irene Cortright
Gary Leonhardt .
Donald Graham
Others present : Gary Evans ( County Planning Office )
Chairman , Cole opened the meeting with the reading of the October 18 ,
1978 minutes . Minutes approved as read .
Chairman . Cole , Gary Evans , A . Francis Wright will be meeting with the
Planning Boards Lawyer , Joan Lind , to go over the complete first sect '`
ion of the revised ordinance . This meeting to take place November 22 ,
1978 . If the Lawyer approves this section it will thenbe put in a
summary and printed in the Danby aera news letter before going to .a
informational hearing . .
The meeting was then turned over to Gary Evans : Gary tells us the
the County Planning Office is going over the State Environmental
Quality Review Act and this should be ready in Jan . or Feb . 1979 .
The Board will be N
making changes on Type 1 and 2 . 3ection 617 . 12 -
making changes .

The Danby ilanning Board continued working on Article 3 , Sections
311 . 3 , 311 . 4 A -B -C -D . Gary will be getting this printed up for us .
The Danby `Ciffical Map is proressing , with the shortage of supplies
in the Ithaca area it will take longer than expected .
:' e . ting adjourned 10 : 00 P . M . the next regular meeting will be December
13 , 1978 - at Danby Town Hall 3 : 00 = . 71 . This meeting moved up one week
because our Chairman will be enjoying the Florida sunshine for six weeks ..
The Vice -Chairman will also be away .
