TOWN OF DANBY PLANNING BOARD MINUTES OCTOBER , 18 , 1978
The regular meeting of the Danby Planning Board was held October 18 ,
1978 - 8 : 00 P . M . at Danby Town Hall .
P lanning Board members present : Board members absent ,
Ernest Cole , Chairman Clifford Hill
Alberta Wilbur Donald. Graham .
Irene Cortrihgt .
Gary Leonhardt
Others present : Robert Snedden , Town Board representative , Gary Evans ,
County Planning Office .
Minutes : Minutes of the September meeting were read. . Gary Leonhardt
made a motion to approve the minutes as read . Seconded by Irene
Cortright . Minutes approved .
A report from Robert Snedden about the Planning Board having our own
Lawyer working with us on the revised ordinance . The Town Board approved
our having our Lawyer to wmrk with us , the Lawyer to be Richard Thalers
assistant , Joan Lind . With her fees to come out of the Planning Boards
78 - 79 budget . Our budget wil be about three thousand dollars . The
printing of the Offical. Town Map has been approved by the Town Board .
This fee will be out of planning boards budget too . The property on
the south side of the Town Hall did not get any response from the Town
B oard about putting this in the Design Review Zone .
Gary Evans will go ahead with printing of the Offical Town Map , hoping
to have this by our November meeting ,
The Planning Board then went over the following Articdis : Artical 4 -
KEEPING OF ANIMALS' * 465 -466 common household pets only in the RR district .
W e are going to the public hearings with this section and see what the
reaction is . If this gets too much reaction from the public we will then
take it out . Section 429 - Nonconformance of animals , changed to 429 . 1
Section 428 - Performance Standards was taken out . Articd & 3 - 305 . 1 ,
306 , 307 , 308 , 309 . Planning Board will be working on Artical 310 next
meeting , November 15 , 1978 . .
Meeting adjourned 10 : 40 P . M .
