TOWN BOARD BUDGET MEETING
September 25 , 1978
A meeting of the Danby Town Board was called to order at 7 : 30 P . M .
at the home of the Supervisor on September 25 , 1978 . The purpose
of the meeting was to prepare the town budget .
Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Councilman Dorothy Roberts
Councilman Robert Snedden
Justice Milton Todd
Others present : Roy Hornbrook and Edward Roberts
Ed Roberts presented a proposed budget for Community Council for 1979 .
The board discussed the request . The problems at the Danby Pond
swimming area were also discussed . The senior citizens presented a
written request for funds . The clerk was asked to write a letter to
the senior citizens asking for an itemized budget .
In other business it was noted that there will be a public hearing
on budgeting the revenue sharing funds . This will be held October
9 , 1978 at 7 : 30 P . M . immediately preceding the regular meeting of
the board . Also , there will be a public hearing to consider the
increase of fees for dog licenses in the Town of Danby . The date
for this hearing will be October 11 , 1978 at 7 : 30 P . M . at the Danby
Town Hall . There will be an informational meeting preceding the
hearing . Bill Brothers , Director of the SPCA , will attend .
The Town Board then worked on the budget .
Meeting adjourned at 10 : 30 P . M .
