The Regular meeting of the Town of Danby Planning Board was held at the
Danby Town Hall , 8 : 00 P . hi . , July 19 , 1978 .
Planning Board Members present : Board members absent :
Clifford Hill
Chairman , Ernest Cole
Alberta Wilbur
Gary Leonhardt . .
Donald Graham
Chairman , Cole , opened the meeting with the reading of the May 17 , 1978
minutes . There was not a meeting in June due to a lack of a quorum .
A motion was made by Donald Graham , seconded by Gary Leonhardt , to
approve the minutes as read . Motion carried .
A Note to the Town Board :
The Planning Board needs to have two new members to make a full board .
With one member of the board, limit her term ended as of June 30 , 1978 ,
needs to be reappointed at this time . The Planning Board has a name
for the Town Board to check and see if she wants to serve on this board .

Lhe Planning Board would like to urge the Town Board to work on the
next section of the ordinance , ( General Provisions , Article 5 ) 31
as soon as they could . The Planning Board will not be able to have the
expert assistance of Gary Evans from the County Planning Office much
longer for he has other jobs to take care of . -
There needs to be a public hearing on the offical map . The Ag . district
has been approved by this board , including West Danby .
RESOLUTION if 19 AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT
A motion to approve the Agriculture District in the West Danby area ,
already in the Rural District was made by, Donald Graham , Seconded by
Gary Leonhardt . A roll call vote , MOTION CARRIED . Four AYES , NO NOes .
The Planning Board has appointed Donald Graham as an assittant represent -
ative to the County Planning Board for the Town of Danby when and if
Ernest Cole was absent . Donald Graham needs an offical appointment from
the Town Board so he will have a vote .
A motion to adjourn meeting was made by Gary Leonhardt , seconded by Alberta
Wilbur . Meeting ad . ourned 9 : 00 P . M . The next meeting will be. August 16 ,
1978 at 8 : 00 P . M . at the Danby Town Hall .
