Chairmah ' Col opened the Jan . 31 , 1978 meeting with the _reading and • -
approval of the November 16 , 1978 minutes . A . motion to approve the
minutes as read made by Gary Leonhardt , Seconded by Robert Snedden . •

Note : The Danby Planning Board did not have a meeting in December
. due to the many snow storms .
Chairperson , Ernest Cole advised the board he would be out of town
for the Town Board meeting in February and has asked the Viceperson.
D onald Graham to attend the Feb . 13th . meeting for him . Donald
G raham will attend this meeting . . . .

. A report from the committee on the parking on town roads in Danby .
The committee met with George Clarkson about this problem and has
✓ eached a decision . The committee does ' t feel this should be in the
revised ordinance , Chairperson , Donald Graham , will be getting this •
report • back to Mr . Clarkson_ . •
The committee has a resolution to the Danby Town Board .

RESOLUTION PARKING ON TOWN ROADS :
The Committee recommends to the Town Board that they adopt a seperate
Town Ordinance with selected enforcement on all Town Roads . With
. signs posted at all roads leading into the Town of Danby . stating
this enforcement . Cost estimate $ . 1170 . 00 , One Thousand. one hundred
seventy dollars , not including the posts . there are thirty , 30 ,
e ntrances into the town . Motion was made by Robert Snedden , Seconded
by Donald Graham . Roll call vote : Wilbur - aye , Snedden - aye ,
Leonhardt - aye , Graham - aye , Cole - aye . Carried by a vote of five
ayes and no noes . .

The meeting was then turned over to Gary Evans , with the board " •
working on the Of. 1. ical Town Map , going over each district .
Amendment 3A , text Article 5 , Gary to add a paragraph inArticle 5
explaining each district9 and to include the FLOOD WAY ZONE on the
Map . The board gave Gary Evans the go ahead with the proposed offical
Danby Town Map to present to the town board to be combined or our
zoned map . .
P lanning Board discussed -the business district and agreed to change
this to Rural Hamlet B - 1 , and not have an Industry district . This
w ill be included in the B - 1 district . • •
Chairperson- , Cole to invite the people interested in the Planned Unit
' Development , larger farmers not in the Ag district to our next meeting
February 15 , 1978 , 8 : 00 P . P . Town Hall . . . Meeting Adjourned 10 : 30 P . M . .
