Privilege of the Floor continued :
Sandra Roberts asked why cinders are put on the roads and after
that is done the snow plow goes through to clean the road and
all the cinders are scraped off . This is a problem , it was noted
that the County does the cindering and they have a schedule to
keep so that when they come to cinder they do so even if the road
has not been plowed .
G ould Colman asked about getting a larger sluiceppipe on Updike •
Road . The present one is not large enough . It does not carry
the water and the water washes the road out . The Town Board after
some discussion authorized Roy Hornbrook to buy the necessary pipe
with the advise of the County Engineer . •

Howland Road ( John Hill Road ) where she lives . The road needs
to be widened asswell as repaired . The highway committee will
review the situation and make recommendations to the Town Board .
Cotton Hanlon uses this as a logging road . If they damage the
road they will be asked to repair it .
