SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
December 29 , 1977
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was held, at the home of the
Town Supervisor , A . Francis Wright on December 29 , 1977 at 8 : 00 P . M .
The purpose of the meeting was to go over the town accounts .
Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Councilman Paul Smith
Justice Floyd. Dorn
Others present : Roy Hornbrook , Onalee Wright
• It was found that there are surplus funds in the general fund account
over and above the amount to be applied to the reduction of taxes for
• 1978 as budgeted . A resolution was moved by Councilman Ralph Wilbur
to instruct the Supervisor to draw a check in the amount of $ 15 , 000 . 00
payable to the Tompkins County Trust Company to reduce the bond antici
pation note principal for the renovation 'of the Town Hall to $ 15 , 000 . 00 .
The motion was seconded by Councilman Paul Smith .

RENOVATION OF THE TOWN HALL BY
$ 15 , 000 . 00 FROM SURPLUS FUNDS
Roll Call Vote : Wright - aye
Wilbur - aye
Smith - aye
Dorn - aye
Carried by a vote of four ayes and no noes .
A resolution was moved by Supervisor A . Francis Wright and seconded by
Councilman Ralph Wilbur to transfer $ 12 . 44 from the general fund
contingency account A1990 . 4 to Justices account A1110 . 4 to make funds
available to pay the bill for new justice dockets .

CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT A1990 . 4 TO GENERAL
FUND ACCOUNT A1110 . 4 TO PAY BALANCE OF
BILL FOR NEW JUSTICE DOCKETS .

Carried by a vote of/four ayes and no noes .
Acoustics at the Town Hall was discussed and also justice school for
• Paul Smith .
The meeting was adjourned at 9 : 00 P . M .
