The hearing was held at the Town of Covert, 8469, South Main Street, Interlaken NY.
Notice of the hearing was posted on the town's website and clerk's board, as well as by a legal notice
published in the Ithaca Journal on 11/12/15.
PRESENT:
Supervisor- Liz Thomas
Town Clerk- Carissa Parlato
(Town of Covert board members)
OTHERS PRESENT:
Michael Boggs, Town of Ulysses resident; various other non -town residents
OPENING THE HEARING:
Town of Covert Supervisor Mr. Reynolds called the hearing to order at 7pm and announced the
purpose of the hearing: to afford the public an opportunity to comment on the 2016 Trumansburg Fire
and EMS budgets.
Mr. Reynolds went on to explain that according to Town Law, municipalities who contract for Fire and
EMS (emergency medical services) must hold a joint public hearing.

Hearing no comments, the hearing was closed at 7:05pm.
