The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.

CALL TO ORDER:
Ms.Thomas called the meeting to order at 4:05pm.
BUDGET DISCUSSION:
The board discussed the 2016 Tentative Budget, focusing on:
• The DA fund
• Sales tax
• DB fund
• Water districts
• Fire/EMS
• Sidewalks
• Clarifications in the A and B funds
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Ms. Zahler made a motion to move into Executive Session at 5:42pm to discuss matters leading the
appointment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person.
This was seconded by Mr. Goldman and passed unanimously.
Mr. Kerness made a motion to move out of Executive Session at 6:02pm; seconded by Ms. Zahler and
passed unanimously.
BUDGET DISCUSSION RESUMED:
The board discussed the tax cap and the tax levy.
RESOLUTION 2015-154:
Mr. Kerness moved to accept the budget as Preliminary for the Public Hearing pending
confirmation of -2.44% tax rate and 1.7% levy increase.
Moved: Mr. Kerness Seconded: Ms. Zahler
Discussion- Ms. Zahler inquired about the budget process.

RESOLVED that the Ulysses Town Board hold a Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget at
7pm on 10/27/15.
