Budget Discussion
Town of Ulysses
October 8, 2015

The meeting was held at the Ulysses Town Hall at 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg.
PRESENT:
Supervisor- Liz Thomas
2" Deputy Supervisor- Michelle Wright
Board members- Dave Kerness, Rich Goldman. John Hertzler
Clerk- Carissa Parlato
OTHERS PRESENT:
Michael Boggs (9:15am)
ABSENT:
Nancy Zahler
MEETING NOTICE:
Notice of Town Board meetings are posted on the town's website and clerk's board.
CALL TO ORDER:
Ms.Thomas called the meeting to order at Sam.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Ms. Thomas moved to go into Executive Session at 8:0 lam to discuss matters leading the appointment,
promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person. This was
seconded by Mr. Goldman and passed unanimously.
Ms. Thomas moved to end Executive Session at 8:50am, seconded by Mr. Goldman and passed
unanimously.
BUDGET DISCUSSION:
Ms. Thomas gave a general overview of the 2016 budget.
The board discussed the A, B, DA, DB, Water District 1, 2, and 3 Funds as well as fund balance
projections.
The discussion continued on the following:
x sales tax
x bridges
x capital plan for highway
ADJOURN:
Mr. Goldman made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:46am, seconded by Mr. Hertzler and passed
unanimously.
