Building is located in West Road Plaza, Cortland,NY. Work involves removal of several partition walls,modification of a restroom, a new HC restroom,construction of a break room, a small office,massage rooms, and a platform for nail chairs and washes. There will also be repairs to gyp board walls, ceiling tiles,and painting and new flooring. Work is based on four drawings by Hamilton Building services dated 10/30/14 entitled TJ Nails. I have marked the f drawings indicating it was the one used in this review and requiring it be used only in conjunction with this review and attached specifications. GENERAL The following lays out assumptions and understanding of the work. If for any reason,field,and/or existing, conditions vary from these assumptions or notes, or if discrepancies are found during construction,this office should be notified to review the changes. A. Several basic assumptions and comments include: 1. the existing building is in good condition,without rot or other deterioration 2. See Specifications for additional design assumptions. B. The following numbered notations reference keyed notes on drawings. Changes are required where noted. Contractor must follow where no detail is provided. Drawing is marked to reflect the notes below: 1. New partition walls to be constructed using metal or fire treated wood and gyp board coverings. 2. Ceiling to remain. Any replaced panels to carry same fire rating as existing panels and to be installed as required to maintain fire rating. 3.
