MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
September 27 , 1976
A public hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of Danby
on September 27 , 1976. at 8 : 00P . M . in the Danby Town Hall , Town of
Danby , Tompkins County , New York .
Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
• Councilman Paul Smith
Justice Floyd Dorn
Justice Milton Todd
Others present : Roderic Randall , Mrs . Randall , Alfred Sebesta ,
Edward Slights , Gordon Roberts , Real Estate Agents .
The purpose of the hearing was to consider the proposed plan of
Roderic Randall to build a barn for the retailing of farm produce
and for storage of equipment in the winter time . Proof of publication
was presented to the board by the clerk . It was noted that Mr .
Randall ' s plan was presented to the Planning Board for their
consideration and received their approval . The plot plan was
presented for inspection by the public and the Town Board .
All persons desiring to be heard , having been heard , Councilman
Paul Smith made the motion to accept the proposed plan of Mr .
Randall and allow the sale of farm produce grown on the farm and
farm produce brought in for sale . The motion was seconded by
Justice Milton Todd and carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
The hearing was adjourned at 8 : 30 P . M .
