Re: Repairs to 3815 Luker Road

Dear Mr. Weber:
This letter is to certify that I have reviewed the attached
building plans dated 1-4-90 covering the renovations and repairs
to the above -referenced structure, and find them to be in
compliance with the requirements of the NYS Uniform Fire
Prevention and Building Code, with the following conditions:
1. The two hour separation wall shown shall be a double
layer of 5/8" sheet rock on each side of the wall, and
shall be continuous from the floor of the building to a
similarly designed 2 hour ceiling. All doors
penetrating this wall shall be "B" label and have
automatic closers. All joints to be smoke tight.
2. The mixing room shown shall have all explosion proof
electrical fixtures, switching, etc., be adequately
ventilated, and have two heat vents extending up front
the mixing area through the roof. (A damper with a
fusible link could be installed at the ceiling level)
3. All paint materials will be stored in containers no
larger than one gallon size; all type IA materials to
be stored in the special mixing room shown. No more
than 4 gal./sf allowed.
4. Similarly, no more than 2 gallons/sf of materials will
be allowed in the sales and display area.

5. , Roof truss designs to be stamped by a NYS licensed
engineer, and all manufacturer's recommendations for
handling and erection are to be followed.
Please keep in mind that this is for compliance with the NYS Fire
Prevention and Building Code only, and is not a certification as
to the overall building design, structural stability or
construction methods and techniques over which we have no
control.
If there is any additional information needed or any questions on
the above, please just give us a call.
