PLANNING BOARD MEETING MINUTES
June 23 , 1976 .
The regular meeting of the Town of Danby Planning Board was held on
Wednesday June 23 , 1976 at the Danby Elementary School at 8 : 00 P . M .
Members present : Members absent :
Ernest Cole - Chairman Stanley Kirk
Clifford Hill William Best
Donald Graham Alberta Wilbur
Edgar Oltz
Others present : Gordon Roberts — Town of Danby Zoning Officer
Gary Evans - Staff member Tompkins County Planning Office
Minutes of the previous meeting were read . A motion was made by
Donald Graham to approve the minutes as read . The motion was
seconded by Clifford Hill and approved as read by members present .
Chairman Ernest Col made a report of the previous Town Board Meeting .
Also he announced that a meeting with the Town Board , Board of Zoning
Appeals and the Planning Board has been set up for Monday July 19th and
Tuesday July 20th , 1976 at the Tompkins County . Planning Office . The
New town zoning ordinance will be discussed .
Chairman Ernest . Cole gave privilege of the floor to thpse present .
Gordon Roberts reported that plans have been submitted by the Ye Gods
Commune to improve and abide by the ordinance . Also a sub - division
plan on the Steam Mill Road on the E . J . Miller Property .
Next meeting of the Danby Board of Zoning Appeals will be attended
by Clifford Hill if he is notified 2 or 3 days in advance .
Chairman Ernest Cole turned meeting over to Gary Evans . Discussions
and some progress made on the new zoning ordinance proposals .
Next meeting of the Planning Board will be Wednesday July 14th at the
Danby Elementary School .
Meeting adjourned at 11 : 15 P . M .
