The meeting of the Town of Danby Planning Board was held in the
Danby Elementary School , May 11 , 1976 at 8 : 00 P . M .
Members present : Ernest Cole , Chairman
Edgar Oltz , Vice ' Chairman
Alberta Wilbur , Sec .
Clifford Hill •
B oard members absent : Donald Grahman

Vice -Chairman , Edgar Oltz called the meeting to order with the reading
of theApril 28th . meeting . Ernest Cole was to be late so we tabled
approval until he arrived .
Meeting was turned over to Gary Evans , He showed us a rough map of
RA1 zone ,
A discussion on the Auto Salvage acreas , also to review the Wilbur .
Lumber area to set an amount of acreas they will be using as to
put the right amount of acreas on zoning map .

For a Med . Intensity area , RR2 zone , put in a special permit for
land owners that want animals such as pigs , horses , cows , mules , etc .
to have additional land for safety and health reasons 1 to have a
structer at least 200 feet from any other resident .
A letter from Gordon Roberts for a special permit approval for
B lueberry Hill School , private , to remodel old barn for school . -
Chairman Ernest Cole showed us the plans he had recieved from
Dan Hoffman , and Gary Coates . A short discussion before Mr . Hoffman
and Gary _ Coates arrived ,
. Planning Board asked these gentleman about the fire hassards ;
and health approval . They said they had a verbal approval from
the health office . There is to be one certified teacher in this
private school at all times . Blueberry Hill School located on
the Silverman property will be a State - School for one
year at a time . accredited
P lanning Board tabled any decision_ on the private school until
we recieve a certificate from the health officer and talk to the
Danby Fire Chief about how safe the barn will be after remodeling .
Minutes from April meeting approved as read , motion made by Edgar
Oltz , seconded by Clifford Hill ,
N ext meeting May 26 , 1976 , 8 : 00 P . M . Danby School .
Meeting adjourned 11 : 05 .
