SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
December 15 , 1975
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board with the Building
Committee and Architect , Robert Boehiecke , was held at the
home of the Danby Town Supervisor , A . Francis Wright on Danby
Road in the Town of Danby , New York at 8 : 00 P . M .
Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Councilman Paul Smith
Justice Floyd Dorn
• Justice Milton Todd
Others present : Fred Thayer , John Myers , Jimmie Miller , Robert
Boehiecke and Onalee Wright .
The purpose of the meeting was to go over the plans for the
renovation of the Town Hall with Architect , Robert Boehiecke . Mr .
B oehiecke explained the plans and answered questions and suggested
alternatives that might be used to save money . Councilman ' Paul
Smith made the motion that the Architect , Robert Boehiecke ,
advertise for bids for the renovation of the Town Hall . These bids
t o be accepted until January 14 , 1975 at 8 : 00P . M . at which time
the bids will be opened at the Danby Elementary School , Gunderman
Road , Danby , New York . the motion was seconded by Councilman Ralph
W ilbur .
RESOLUTIION #29 ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
RENOVATION OF THE DANBY TOWN HALL
Roll Call Vote : Wright - aye
Wilbur - aye
Smith - aye
Dorn - aye
Todd - aye
Carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
OTHER BUSINESS :
Justice Milton Todd made the motion that the unpaid water bills for
the period from October 1 , 1974 through September 30 , 1975 , in the
amount of $ 1 , 219 . 88 be added to the tax roll .
RESOLUTION # 30 UNPAID WATER BILLS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$ 1 , 219 . 88 FOR 1974 AND 1975 BE ADDED
TO THE TAX ROLL

• Carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
Councilman Ralph Tilbur made the motion that Francis Carrier be
appointed Constable for the Town of Danby subject to the approval
of Mr . Carrier ' s supervisor . The motion was seconded by Justice
. Floyd Dorn and carried by a vote of five ayes and no noes .
Councilman Paul Smith made the motion to adopt the rules and
regulations concerning the availability , location , and nature
of the records of the Town of Danby as draw up by the Town Board
in accordance with Section 88 ( 2 ) of the Freedom of Information
Law and make available for public inspection a subject matter
list of records produced after September 1 , 1974 in accordance
with the requirements of Section 88 ( 4 ) of the Freedom of Information
Law . The motion was seconded by Justice Floyd Dorn .
