NOVEMBER 20 , 1975
The regular meeting, of the Planning Board was held in the
Danby Elementary School , November 20 , 1975 at 8 : 30 P . M .
Planning Board members present : Chairman : Ernest Cole
Alberta Wilbur
Stanley Kirk
Edgar Oltz
Donald Graham
Planning Board members absent : Vice - Chairman : Clifford Hilly.

Minutes from the October 16 , meeting were read and approved. • '
as read . Motion made by Donald Graham , seconded by Edgar Oltz ,
The Danby Planning Board members discussed the hearing on the
proposed airport on Gunderman Road . The Danby Planning Board
members feels there should not be any compromise for an air -
strip . This Planning Board voted against this , a definite NO .
The air strip was also voted down by all Town Of Danby Boards .
Therefore the Planning Board wculd like to ask and have the
Town Board write a letter to the State Aviation Board to see if
they can do something about this . We feel Mr . D ' Ambrose does not
have a license to land any planes on this land . The Town Justice
can fill the Town Board on the precedings or this case .

Edgar Oltz was to find out if the Town Board had a resolution on
The State Building Code , Mr . Oltz did find the town does have
a resolution oh or about December 5 , 1957 . This should and will
be adopted into our. new Town Ordinance , .
Mr . Evens went over the County wide settlement pattern . In the
Ton of Danby feels we should have Pour d. i .fferent zones , •
Medium Intensity Area , ( Business Zone ) Neighborhood business ,

Mr . Evens had a map to show the planning board that was

rvr . Evens tells us that the Town Board can change the zones
when they need to . Example , when a person or business wants
to start a business in a residental area , if the Town feels
it would be good for the town . :
