TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
AQUIFER PROTECTION PERMIT
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 178-46 of the Code of the Town of
Cortlandville, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville,
County of Cortland, New York, at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building located at 3577
Terrace Road, Town of Cortlandville, New York, on December 20, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.,
concerning an application for an Aquifer Protection Permit.
The application is by Hospitality Restaurant Group for the purpose of the demolition of an
existing structure and construction of a new drive-thru style restaurant (Taco Bell). The
applicant is the owner of the property, which is described as 860 NYS Route 13, across from
Lime Hollow Road, in front of (northeast of) Lowe's, tax map 995.20-02-04.000 and #95.20-02-
03.000.
The property is located within Area 1: Primary Area of the Aquifer Protection District of the
Town of Cortlandville, is located within Zone In of the Town's Wellhead Protection Zone, and
is in a Zoning District denominated B-3 (Planned Commercial Business).
At the time and place of said hearing all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity
to be heard.
