PROGRAM
An educational first
for Enfield. Last May and
June we had an experimental
pilot project for the GED.
Five people took the course,
and of the three who were
then qualified to take the
GED, all three took it and
passed. Joe Schehr, GED in-
structor, was very pleased
with the dedicated participa-
tion on the part of all partici-
pants.
We are now attempt-
ing to set up a program for
the fall and again in the
Fall 1996
4*
Superintendent Days: &:00
through 5:30, S15/day. We need
a minimum of 15 children signed I

THE ENFIELD TEEN
GROUP
We have just started
spring for the whole commu-
nity. This is a great addition
to a community's resources.
Those interested should call
Bonnie Turscik, program co-
ordinator, at 273-4637 to reg-
ister or to get information.
We do not have the funding
that we had for the pilot pro-
ject, but we are pursuing new
areas of funding. Anyone
with any ideas about obtain-
ing funding, please give us a
call. This is a fine opportu-
nity to better our community.
