Thursday Fire $ Safety Inspection at Chainsaws and More. Deviations 8.5
10/5/23 noted: Provide yearly inspection for fire extinguishers, keep
rear exit door clear from obstruction.
Friday Receive complaints regarding rubbish and garbage on the 7.7
lo/6/23 neighbor next to them located at 1054 Route 13. Inspection
confirms property to be in violation. Notice prepared and
mailed.
Complaint received regarding property located at 3688
Delaware.
Site inspection made. Property is found to be in violation of
section 98.1 of the NYS PMC. Notice sent.

10/9/23
Inspection at AMW regarding a large camper stored on the 8.5
Tuesday property. I spoke with Sheldon, owner of AMW, and referred
10/10/23 him to speak with PZO Bruce Weber regarding approval and
other options for the camper being stored for a period of
time. Bruce granted permission for the camper to be stored
until the second week of November. I will reinspect for a
follow up to make sure the camper has been removed.
Communication with Rose regarding solar questions for
potential projects.
Receive voicemail from Harold White regarding new
business, Crown Royal. Ii left a voicemail to return.
Correspondence with Casey regarding new tenant at the
Bennie Rd JM Murray Center, permits and inspections.
Review Fire Code for CO inquiry. 9.25
Wednesday Fire and Safety Inspection at Top Ten Smoke Shop.
Deviations noted: repair front and rear exit lights and
provide glow exit in the middle room leading to front or rear
exit, provide yearly inspection for fire extinguisher,
extension cords can not be used as permanent wiring
(extension cords throughout used for cameras), provide
caution on the step up behind the counter.

Thursday Department Head Meeting
10/12/23 Inspection at 4447 Kinney Gulf Rd to check on a house that
has been placard; to be sure that the placards have not been
removed.
Receive a grass complaint regarding property located at 3781
Clinton Street Ext. Inspection made. Revise Local Code
Chapter 98 for compliance order.

Discussion with park manager Terry at C&H regarding
placarding a trailer. I left a message with the owner of the
park, Brett for further information regarding this situation.
Work on July and August mileage, voucher and return to
Megan Johnson.
Friday Tessa with Doug's Fish Fry to organize a day to do afire and 8.75
10/13/23 safety inspection on the Doug's To Go food truck to become a
vendor at the Gutchess Park.
Work on September mileage, voucher and return to
Megan Johnson .
Complaint received regarding 1533 Blodgett Mills Rd.
Site inspection made. Property is found to be in violation of
PMC section 3o8 Rubbish and Garbage. Violation notice
prepared and mailed to property owner.

VM-Latoya regarding the fire & safety inspection at 3725 Fairview
Tuesday Drive. No further action.
10/17/23 Correspondence with Donnalyn regarding the Barkyard Canine signs
that she proposed for the business. Due to the amount of banners
proposed to be affixed to the exterior of the building, I referred her to
contact Bruce Weber for a variance application. Advised that she will
need to contact me if the variance is proposed to apply for a building
permit.
Correspondence with Della at the JM Murray Center regarding new
construction and scheduling for a fire inspection for that area.
Scheduled for io/i8.
Re -inspection at Nortbview Apartments. All noted deviations have
been remediated.
Re -inspection at Carpet Source. All noted deviations have been
remediated.
Complaint regarding a vacant property located at 3117 Route 215 with
Wednesday the front door off the hinges and other concerns with the property in
10/18/23 its state as far as possibly being an unsafe structure. Site inspection
made. The house sits far back off the road and the driveway is
overgrown with grass and tall weeds. I made the best inspection of the
property I could and will further discuss further action with
Supervisor Willaims. I have also reached out to the fire
commissioners for their perspective on the situation.
Fire and Safety Inspection at Willow Brook. Deviations noted: Fire
extinguishers require yearly inspection.
Fire and Safety Inspection at E&V Energy. Deviations noted: Remove
obstruction in front of the electrical panel in the rear side of the
storage area ( maintain 3ft clearance), provide a crash barrier in front
of propane tanks located near the exterior of the building, in the
parking area. Discussion was to either be completely empty if used for
demonstration or to protect. Email emergency response and
communication form to Alexis to complete and send back.

Thursday Final inspection at JM Murray Center for a small renovation to make 6 hours
10/19/23 space for a new tenant coming into the warehouse. No reinspection
required until the tenant is moved in which will then cause for a
complete fire and safety inspection.
Friday lPS- input fire and safety inspections, create invoices, prepare 9 hours
10/20/23 envelopes for mailing.
Prepare notices and mailings for past due inspections regarding
Sherbrook Apts, Country Townhomes, Rex's Restaurant, Stevens
Manor, Village Terrace, Night Owls and The Chapel.

Monday rubbish on property. Site inspection made. Property in violation.
10/23/23 Notice sent.
Site Inspection made at 3225 S Cortland Rd. Property complies. No
further action required.
Inspection made at 3246 South Cortland Rd regarding complaint of
abandoned vehicles being stored on vacant property -again.
Site inspection made. Inspection revealed two cars currently on the
property. Will inspect later to see if they are still there and/or if more
have accumulated.

Complete the vacant structure notices. -Email the commissioner 5.25
Wednesday minutes, Kevin Whitey and Mike Biviano for my request for them to
10/25/23 review and notify me with any vacant structures that I missed.
Received complaint from John Delvecchio Sr. regarding two
properties located at 4301 Route 11( property had multiple
unlicensed/unregistered vehicles parked on the green space and
inspection revealed a large storage container stored on the property
without zoning approval and without a building permit. Violation
notice sent for compliance.
Complaint located at 1322 Fisher Ave regarding junk vehicles stored
on the property along with other rubbish materials. Inspection
revealed property to be in violation. Notice sent to the property owner
for compliance.
Inspection made.
Thursday Fire and Safety Inspection at Sherbrook Apts. Deviations noted:
10/26/23 Sprinkler report is required- discussion with Lynn, property
manager, regarding the sprinklers needing to be inspected and the
report given to me for review. Building F was locked and could not
gain access.
Fire and Safety Inspection at Seven Day ADventist Church/Radio
Station. No deviations were noted at time of inspection.
Friday Fire and Safety Inspection at Stevens Manor. Deviations noted: fire
10/27/23 extinguishers were past inspection date and require current
inspection.
Fire and Safety Inspection at Lowes. Deviations noted: Truss placards
are required 11/11 for entrance doors, in the "Bull Pen" exit lights
require repair or replacing, sprinklere, and fire alarm are required.
Discussion with Caleb, manager, regarding the CO detectors (some
were damaged from being hit) -Caleb states that they just hired a
company to come and service or replace them. I will follow up with all
deviations noted.
Monday Office- work on files, paperwork, etc.

Tuesday
10/31/23 Discussion with Town Attorney John Delvecchio regarding a
potential summons for a landlord/tenant dispute in court.
Site inspection made at Sherwin WIlliams for insulation of a new sign
erected on the building.
Discussion with Kaitlyn Jones at Blazin Nutrition regarding a new
sign proposal. Site inspection to go over options prior to contacting
Kasis Signs for drawings.
Fire and Safety Inspection at KFC. NDeviations noted: Replace Truss
Placards on entrance door (faded), Health Certificate expired April 30,
2023-I contacted the Health Dept, Don Ware to check on the status. I
have not heard back at this time, keep electrical panels and exit doors
clear of obstruction, provide CO detector, Provide sprinkler report.
