TOWN BOARD MINUTES
January No 1975
A special meeting of the Danby Town Board was held at the Danby
Fire Station , Town of Danby , County of Tompkins , State of New York ,
on January 30 , 1975 at 7 : 30 P . M .
Board members present : Supervisor A . Francis Wright
Councilman Ralph Wilbur
Justice Milton Todd
Justice Floyd Dorn
Board member absent : Councilman Clyde Carrier
The supervisor stated that a resolution is needed to authorize the
clerk to publish a summary of the supervisor ' s annual report .
Justice Floyd Dorn made the motion to authorize the Town Clerk to
publish a summary of the Supervisor ' s annual report . This must be
published by March 1 , 1975 according to law . Councilman Ralph
Wilbur seconded the motion .
RESOLUTION # 5 AUTHORIZE THE TOWN CLERK TO
PUBLISH A SUMMARY OF THE
SUPERVISOR ' S ANNUAL REPORT .
Roll Call Vote : Wright - aye
Wilbur - aye
Todd - aye
Dorn - aye
Carried four ayes and no noes .
It was stated that the $ 55 , 000 . 00 asking price for the " Old Country
Inns was to high a price to pay .
Supervisor A . Francis Wright brought the information from the meeting
with the highway employees on January 23 , 1975 to the board members
who were absent . The raises for the highway employees was discussed
at length . The health insurance programs available were discussed .
An answer will be made to the highway people at the next town board
meeting February 17 , 1975 .
